Flatwrap
Australia and New Zealand agent for the Japanese Joyner K II Newspaper/Magazine flat wrapping machine incl consumables.
Latest Japanese flat wrapping technology that allows newspapers or magazines to be delivered to residential or commercial properties in a professional enviro friendly bag that is far superior to the current rolled newspapers being home delivered.
This technology will dramatically reduce your turn around time by up to 40% whilst directly reducing time taken and kilometres travelled during each Saturday's distribution by allowing you to wrap the product in one piece.
No more throwing of 2 articles for one publication eg Weekend SMH or Saturday Melbourne Age. This will save on fuel and wage costs which are the two biggest killers of delivery margins wihtin the Newsagent Delivery Industry.
This techology has been available in Brisbane since 2006 and is used in daily operation for the home delivery of 2000 units Mon-Fri and 3000 units on Saturday and Sunday in the western suburbs of Brisbane.
Servicing is carried out every 250,000 units wrapped and MMPD has machines that have wrapped 1 Million units and the only parts that have been replaced are heater bar fuses at a cost of $255 incl labour.

Testimonial
Hi Simon,
We greatly appreciated you coming up and showing us the uncomplicated process of working the Flat wrap Joyner Mark II, we were amazed at the simplicity of the Machine, and speed at which we could work.
We did the first delivery on Thursday, and the Whitsunday Times have said they are delighted with the result, saying “outstanding” and “job well done”!
We ended up going with the flat wrapped option, and found delivering the papers unfolded very easy (it took about 50 papers to master the arm action), and faster, we think also, that carrying the papers flat, we were able to carry more at a time, which left us with less return trips, which sped up the delivery process. We used 1 carton of plastic, and for the 4500 + papers we had maybe 4 occasions we had to re-bag due to a minor jam – pretty good on the first night we thought!
Once again Simon, thank you for your time and support.
Kind Regards,
Ray Daniels

I have units that have wrapped over 1,200,000 units and I have only had to replace heater bar fuses.
All machines currently sold have original CPU’s and have proven to be exceptionally reliable and virtually maintenance free. Once a week the operator is required to remove the 3 machine covers and using a air gun blow out the internal parts. This task takes less than 15 minutes.
